Testicular Cancer
Prompt evaluation of testicular masses and surgical treatment with orchiectomy, coordinated with oncology.
Testicular cancer care
Testicular cancer is most common in younger men and is highly treatable, especially when found early. A painless lump or swelling in a testicle should always be evaluated promptly.
How Dr. Uhr can help
- Physical examination, ultrasound, and tumor-marker blood tests
- Radical orchiectomy (removal of the affected testicle), which is both diagnostic and the first step of treatment
- Coordination with medical oncology for any additional therapy through Jefferson Health
